If a farmer does not get his premium done, then in this situation the farmer will have to pay the last 1 week before the concerned bank in writing. My Policy Mera Haath campaign launched

A national campaign has been started by Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar . The name of this campaign is Meri Policy Mera Haath. 47 lakh farmers of Madhya Pradesh applied

This year 47 lakh farmers have been benefited in Madhya Pradesh through the Mukhyamantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Every year 3 lakh farmers have been associated with this scheme. To get insurance under this scheme, farmers have to pay only 2% premium and 98% of the premium amount is borne by the Central Government and the State Government. Apart from this, farmers of Mandsaur, Sehore, Dewas, Rajgarh have also got themselves insured under this scheme.

The main objective of starting this scheme is to provide the benefit of crop insurance scheme to 100% farmers. So far around 50% farmers have been covered under this scheme. If the farmer wants to change the already fixed crop, then the farmer has to inform his bank for the change 2 days before the last date. UP Crop Insurance Scheme Update
